Information about Dr. Muhammad Ali al-Bar 

In the name of of Allah the Merciful

(Biography Dr. Muhammad Ali AL-Bar)

His name (Muhammad Ali Hamid Al-Bar Al-Al-Hussaini) is known as 

Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Bar.

  1. A Saudi national, born in the city of Aden on December 29, 1939 studied in Aden until he graduated from the secondary School, then studied the university in Egypt in Cairo and entered the university in 1958 at the Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University. After his graduation he returned to Aden and worked for Queen Elizabeth Hospital as well He worked in Lahj Hospital, then when the conditions is worsen in Aden and southern Yemen were troubled, he went to Egypt and then went to Britain to complete his studies, where he obtained a fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians, after which he staying in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1971 and obtained his nationality, he worked in the city of Jeddah at Jeddah National Hospital, then moved to King Fahd Center for Medical Research, University of King Abdul Aziz. Then he finally moved to the International Medical Center IMC and had a private clinic (previously) in the Bab Makkah area in Jeddah.

  1. 1-Holding Bachelor degree of Medicine and Surgery Honors degree, Cairo University in 1964.

  1. 2- Diploma in Internal Medicine, Cairo University in 1969.

  1. 3-Membership in the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom, London, Edinburgh and Glasgow, in February 1971

  1. 4- Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians in London and the United Kingdom in 1996.

  1. 5-Honorary Saudi Board 2012.

  1. Current position - Director of the Center for Medical Ethics - International Medical Center - Jeddah

  1. 1- Internal Medicine Consultant

  1. 2- Advisor, Department of Islamic Medicine, King Fahd Center for Medical Research, King Abdulaziz University - Jeddah

  1. 3-An expert in the International Islamic Jurisprudence Academy affiliated to the Organization of the Islamic Conference in Jeddah from 1983 to today 2018 and participated in researches related to medical issues Al-Faqih in writing, discussing and drafting some decisions.

  1. 4- An expert in the Islamic Jurisprudence Academy of the Muslim World League in Makkah (1983-2018) participated in research and discussions related to medical jurisprudence issues and the drafting of some decision.

  1. 5-Participated in the activities, conferences, and symposia of the Islamic Organization for Medical Sciences in Kuwait from 1984              to 2017

  1. 6- Founding member of the Scientific Miracles Authority in the Quran and Sunnah, the Muslim World League in Makkah and participated in all its conferences and seminars.

  1. 7-Member of the Supreme Committee for Brain Death in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Region.

  1. 8-Participated in developing medical ethics curricula in many universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states.

  1. 9- lecturing at many universities and seminars in and outside the Arab world, especially in the field of medical ethics.

  1. 10-he participated in a vast campaign against smoking and its harms since 1973, wrote five books and gave hundreds of lectures in various schools, universities, clubs and societies, and the World Health Organization (for the Middle East region and its center in Alexandria) gave him a certificate and a shield in recognition of his efforts in this field.

  1. 11- and participated in research in a conference in the fight against alcohol and drugs that was organized by the Islamic University of Medina and obtained certificates from various sides, including It contains a witness from the poison of Prince Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Youth Welfare, a certificate from the Director of Narcotics Control for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, a testimony from the Director of Narcotics Control for the Arab Republic of Egypt, and Edited five printed books.

 

  1. 12- He participated in an awareness campaign against sexual diseases and AIDS and gave dozens of lectures in schools, universities and youth clubs and participated in the research presented to the International Islamic Jurisprudence Academy on AIDS and the rights of people living with it, as he represented Dr. Abdullah Nassif at the AIDS Rights Rights Conference held in the Netherlands capital The Hague. Dr. Abdullah Omar Nassif commissioned him to go to the Vatican in Rome to discuss the various preparations and points of view of the World Population Conference that was to be held in Cairo in 1994. Al- Azhar Sharif, the Muslim World League and other Islamic organizations thwarted the plans to demanding the rights Legalization of abortion , Homosexuals & Children Conference held in Cairo 1994, and Dr. Muhammad Al-Bar was the only member representing the Muslim World League in this conference in 1994.

He has hundreds of lectures, articles and a number of published research in the medical and ethical scientific journals (in English) and from his books.
